Welcome to Fairlight Guesthouse and Cafe in Glenridding
Fairlight Bed & Breakfast and Cafe is situated at the centre of Glenridding village in the heart of the Lake District. Our B&B is ideally located just minutes from Ullswater Lake, the most beautiful lake in England, and next to Helvellyn and the Eastern Lakeland Fells.
Fairlight guesthouse offers exclusive hotel level luxurious accommodation, and has been recently extended and fully renovated to provide high quality En-Suite Bedrooms. We have flexible B&B accommodation to suit your needs, including double rooms, twin rooms, family rooms (for 3 or 4 people), and disabled access ground floor accommodation with a walk in shower. Prices start at just £40 per person for bed and breakfast, with discounts available for longer stays.
Our popular cafe and restaurant is open all day serving breakfasts, teas, coffees and lunches and is fully licensed. We also have an outside seating area to help you enjoy the views.
The stunning area of the Lake District around Glenridding and Ullswater has a great range of attractions from hill walking and mountain biking, to sailing, canoeing or just relaxing. The area is also a popular wedding venue and our Glenridding B&B is just a 2 minute walk from the Inn on the Lake Hotel on Ullswater.
We are within easy walking distance of the Glenridding Sailing centre and the famous Ullswater Steamers on the Lake, and the main footpath up Helvellyn starts near our bed and breakfast. The Ullswater Tourist Information Centre is just around the corner to provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your stay in the Lake District. Glenridding and nearby Patterdale have a good selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a local garage, cash point and all the other amenities you need for your short break or holiday.
